Our Story

Arizona Church Security Network, LLC was formed in March of 2017. God’s providential hand can be seen throughout our history. After founding the Safety and Security Team at Christ Community Church in Tucson, AZ Christopher Taylor was often asked by local churches to provide guidance on how to begin a safety ministry. During attendance at a security conference in Long Beach, CA he had the opportunity to meet Lt. Col. Dave Grossman who suggested Christ Community Church host a Sheepdog Seminar. After arranging for a Sheepdog Seminar he was challenged by Jimmy Meeks, one of the presenters, to find a way to keep the momentum the conference would generate moving forward in the community.

We began providing networking opportunities, threat information, and training to the churches of Southern Arizona immediately following the SheepDog Seminar. There is no cost for several services offered by AZCSN. In some cases, low cost opportunities are offered to allow us to cover expenses for specific special events or training opportunities. We formed a partnership with Integrated Community Solutions to Active Violence Events (ICSAVE) to provide Bleed Control (Stop-the-Bleed) and Violent Intruder Response Training to faith based organizations and schools throughout the State of Arizona at no charge. This partnership has resulted in hundreds of people be trained in dozens of faith based organizations and schools throughout Arizona.

In 2018, monthly Lunch and Learn sessions started to be held for those serving or interested in serving on teams throughout Southern Arizona. Lunch and Learns meet the last Friday of each month from 12:00-1:00pm. Guest speakers and an opportunity for fellowship has resulted in tremendous support for our church safety programs. Our average monthly attendance of over thirty people representing a wide array of the faith based community continues to grow each month.

In April of 2019, the AZCSN began holding monthly meetings in the Metro Phoenix area led by Phil Pinkus, from Dream City Church. This group is meeting the first Thursday of each month from 6:30-8:30pm.

We continue in the Lord’s service, looking forward to what He has in store for us.

Our Mission

The Arizona Church Security Network serves the churches of Arizona by providing training resources, threat information, security news, and opportunities to network, among church security teams.

Church Security

How is a church to prevent and respond to the various safety and security concerns of this age? The Arizona Church Security Network follows a two-pronged approach found within the Scriptures. Nehemiah 4:9 states And we prayed to our God and set a guard as a protection against them day and night.
