Child Protection 4-Hour Course
This expanded course dives deeper into ensuring child protection policies and procedures are aligned to best practices. It focuses on the need for faith-based organizations to be actively engaged in protecting the children they serve. This overview of best practices will include check-in and check-out of children, volunteer screening, mandatory reporting, preventing and responding to sexual abuse and implementing protective measures. We will examine the scope of the problem, the grooming process, and policies and procedures. Understand the mandatory reporting laws and requirements of all staff, volunteers, and members of the church. Learn about the many hidden dangers and practical ways you may keep the children under your organizations care safe.
