AZ Armed Security Guard Refresher w/ Special Pistol Topics

This course is designed for those who have completed Intermediate Handgun and requires instructor approval. 

Prior to the course students must complete the four hour online classroom instruction. 

Course Objectives:

-Participants will continue to develop and demonstrate firearm safety while integrating movement and practicing the firearms safety rules.

-Participants will understand and demonstrate after action responses including problem solving, awareness, and potential need for self care.

-Participants will understand the importance of both contact and cover roles and differentiate between them.

-Participants will work with a partner to safely approach and communicate with a vehicle’s occupants.

-Participants will respond to a simulated deadly force assault by occupants of a vehicle.

-Participants will demonstrate appropriate techniques when approaching and moving around vehicles in a parking lot.
