Students will be instructed on their responsibility for firearm safety, maintenance, storage, legal issues relating to the use of deadly force, proper mental conditioning, and judgmental shooting. Practice will be conducted with SIRT and other training devices in the classroom.
Students will focus on safe weapon manipulation and marksmanship. The day will include live fire practice and qualification. Students will complete the practical firearms qualification and written exam.
