August Lunch & Learn

Join us for our monthly AZCSN Lunch and Learn. This event is open to all church leadership and safety / security team members. 

This month we will focus on mandatory reporting in the church. 

Arizona law requires certain people, including Sunday School teachers and others working with children and youth in the church, regardless of whether they are financially compensated, to report suspected abuse (ARS §13-3620.A). You may be a child’s only advocate at the time you report the possibility of abuse or neglect. Children often tell a person with whom they feel safe about abuse or neglect.

Learn about the requirements for mandatory reporting. The protection given to reporters through Arizona State Law and the importance of following through with the reporting process.
