Surprise, AZ Monthly Meeting

AZCSN meets the first Monday of the month at Cross Church in Surprise. Our monthly meetings include an opportunity to meet and fellowship with other safety and security ministry volunteers, a training session on a different topic each month, and time to share updates and questions about church safety.

This month we will focus on domestic violence in ministry contexts. 

Domestic violence is one of the top three causes of deadly force incidents at faith based organizations in the United States. We will identify the prevalence of DV in the country and specifically churches in the US. We will discuss ways we can increase awareness, formulate policies and procedures while respecting individuals privacy and protecting the church’s members and staff. The course includes discussion of the potential responses to domestic violence incidents occurring at churches and schools.
