De-escalating High Threat Situations with the Use of Active Listening Skills

This course will provide the participants with exposure to a variety of active listening and other verbal de-escalation skills. The course is interactive with participants having the opportunity to role play and use the skills be presented. 

The guest instructor is a former FBI Supervisory Special Agent with over 23 years of experience. He was an Adjunct Faculty member for the FBI teaching Interview and Interrogations, Criminal Investigations, Crisis Negotiations and Kidnapping Investigations.  He has taught law enforcement matters around the world to include; USA, Chile, Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Djibouti Africa, Colombia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and at the International Law Enforcement Academy in El Salvador among other places.
