In this session you will understand the extent of child sexual abuse and why the church is a target for these predators. You will learn the truth about background checks and what a solid volunteer screening process looks like that will facilitate keeping your kids safe in the ministry environment.

Robert J Wild is the current Senior Director of Strategic Alliances at Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company. His passion is working with ministry leaders to educate them on issues related to child protection and safety and security and to help them identify ways they can best protect their ministries against these and other related risks.

Bob has presented more than 200 child protection and church safety and security seminars on behalf of Brotherhood Mutual and continues to pursue more awareness for these topics within the ministry setting.

Prior to joining Brotherhood Mutual in 2009, Bob served as the Director of Finance and Administration and Risk Management for two mega churches in the Phoenix area for more than 25 years: Vineyard Christian Fellowship of North Phoenix and Christ’s Church of the Valley. He has served on several boards including the local Phoenix NACBA/TCN chapter, CCV Youth Sports Inc., the largest nonprofit youth sports program in Arizona, and Financial Planning Ministry, a national estate planning ministry to the local church.

blished in Church Executive Magazine, Christianity Today, and Group Publishing’s professional edition for their Children’s Magazine.

He holds degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin and a Master’s Degree in Business. Bob has four children and 3 grandchildren.
